Principal Steve Wong was awarded by the Dept. of Education

The principal of our school, Huang Sihua, was awarded by Dr. Cecilia Carandang, the director of the Department of Education in San Juan City, at around 2 PM last December 15, 2022, in recognition of the school’s outstanding performance from the period of the school year  2021 to 2022. The students who competed in science and mathematics subjects not just bring glory to the school, but also to the city and our country. In terms of community service, the school and the barangay community have always maintained a good relationship.  During the epidemic, they not only used the school playground as a place to distribute relief items but the school also donated health items to the city government to help fight the epidemic. The school has also established a friendly relationship with public schools, our school accepts students from public schools in different grade levels. Our school also accepts Senior High School Students who are receiving government financial assistance. We followed the NO TOP-UP Tuition Fee just to assure that no students will be left behind when it comes to education. The only condition we give is that they must study Chinese seriously and they will surely benefit from it in the near future. Over the past few years, our school has cultivated many Filipino students who can speak Chinese, which has been well-received by the  Bureau of Education and other countries.

Before this epidemic, our school passed the first-level excellent education evaluation, which shows that under the leadership of Principal Huang, the school has undergone tremendous changes. The quality of education has improved, teachers are serious about teaching, and students are also serious about learning. The atmosphere of the whole school is getting better and better, and more and more people have given affirmation and praise to the school. Parents and alumni have expressed their willingness to cooperate with the school and give strong support. They hope that the school can pass the second and third evaluations as soon as possible. , becoming one of the top schools in the Philippines is our main goal.

The San Juan Municipal Government has already praised the teachers and students of the school at its flag-raising ceremony last October. During those time, Principal Huang was awarded d by the Director of the San Juan Department of Education, which shows that the efforts of the school have been affirmed by the outside world. This is just one of the beginning. The school still has a long way to go, but I believe that under the leadership of Principal Huang, Chenguang Middle School will definitely be better and better.
