The school held an online ethnic art-modern Chinese painting workshop at the Zoom video conference from September 21 to 23, and hired Mr. Zhuang Yongjian, a famous young painter from the Philippine Overseas Chinese Society as a lecturer.
In addition to our students, we also invited Students from other Chinese schools to participate, and nearly 100 people participated in the event. Traditional Chinese painting, also known as Danqing, is abbreviated as "Chinese painting" in colloquial language.
It refers to the traditional painting art of Chinese culture, and it is one of the four arts of piano, chess, calligraphy and painting. "Calligraphy and painting" is a general term for calligraphy and painting, especially Chinese traditional calligraphy and painting.
In this study, in order to let the students better understand the vastness and exquisiteness of Chinese culture in our country, and in line with the cool personality of young people in the new era, they boldly try to modernize traditional Chinese painting,
use watercolor instead of ink, and integrate Chinese and Western painting techniques to paint. And aroused students' interest in painting. In just three days, he was able to draw a "super professional" Chinese painting.
Our school attaches great importance to the balanced development of students’ moral, intellectual, physical, and aesthetic education. Especially in recent years, our students have participated in art competitions held outside the school, especially painting competitions.
Cai Yijun, a seven-year student of our school, participated in the 5th International Children's Public Welfare Environmental Protection Painting Competition and won the Excellence Award. At the award ceremony held on the afternoon of September 24th, he was affirmed and
appreciated by the organizer that painting can help develop language organization and expression level . Painting activities are not limited to letting children draw by themselves, but also emphasize allowing students to express their unique thoughts and psychological
activities through painting.
晨光中學訊：本校於九月廿一至廿三日假ZOOM視訊會議舉辦了線上民族藝術-現代國畫工作坊，並聘請了菲華僑社著名的年輕畫家莊永堅先生擔任講師，除了本校學生，也邀請了其他華校學生參加， 共有近百人參加研習。中國傳統繪畫，也稱丹青，口語上簡稱「中國畫」。指中華文化的傳統繪畫藝術，是琴棋書畫四藝之一。書畫」則是書法和繪畫的總稱，尤專指我國傳統的書法和繪畫。此次研習，為了讓學生更瞭解我國中華文化的博大精湛，並符合新時代年輕人個性潮酷，大膽嘗試把傳統國畫現代化，使用水彩取代墨汁，並融合中、西方的繪畫技巧來畫畫，並引起了學生的繪畫興趣，僅僅三天時間，就能畫出了一幅超有專業水準」的國畫來。本校注重學生德智體群美五育的均衡發展，特別近年來，我校學生參加校外舉辦的藝術比賽，特別是繪畫比賽，均能榮獲佳績，為校爭光，例如今年佛光山萬年寺承辦第五屆國際少兒公益環保繪畫大賽，本校七年學生蔡宜君同學參賽並獲優秀獎，於九月廿四日下午舉行的頒獎典禮上，獲得主辦方的肯定與讚賞 繪畫能夠協助發展語言組織與表達水平。繪畫活動，不但限於讓孩子動手畫，更強調讓學生通過繪畫表達自己獨特的思想和心理活動。在學生們完成作品後，讓他們講講自己的畫面內容，培養幼兒語言組織與表達水平。
